Bring the vision of one of the world's biggest artists to life—in three weeks—to announce an adidas x IVY Park partnership.
“Beyoncé Homecoming” was created to launch the new adidas x Ivy Park collaboration while celebrating the traditions of HBCUs. Homecoming featured a custom-built structure at a secret location in the desert during Coachella Weekend One 2018. The event was punctuated with a performance by the world-famous Grambling Marching Band and an appearance by Queen B herself.
Apart from the incredible one-night-only event, both adidas and Beyoncé wanted to provide a unique experience for Coachella campers by recreating her now iconic pyramid stage in the campground, which marked her performance as the first African American female artist to headline Coachella.
My role - lead the creative development from brand side in collaboration with Beyonce’s creative team and Parkwood Entertainment as executive producer. I Personally worked with the key stakeholders at Grambling University to create an auntehtitic experience for both Beyonce, as well as providing the World Famous Grambling Marching Band a once in a lifetime exprience to perform for thier idol.
